Your new employer does not appear to be using your P45 figures.

The tax code from your last job appears to be the usual allowance for 2011/2012 do you know why it is lower than expected for 2012/2013?

When you started did your new employer get you to complete a P46 and if so what section did you select A or B?

Can you give the full details from your P45 and from your last payslip including anything after your tax code and anything showing as previous apy or tax?
Looked for my P45 but no joy and as i am a newby i cant attach anything. What details are you wanting to see ? I have my last (old) and 1st (new) pay slips.

Lets start from that then; give everything that appears on these payslips to see if that throws any light onto it.

I haven't looked at the detail - I'm sure someone else will do that. However, it looks as though your old employer did not do what they were supposed to do at the beginning of this tax year and increased your code to 810L (standard for this year) and continued with code they were using previously. Unless HMRC were reclaiming underpaid tax through a reduced tax code, your previous employer was taking off too much tax. Your new employer is now giving you the benefit of the accrued under-used allowance.

From these figures it appears that the previous pay and tax from your old employment have not been added into the earnings for the new employment. The figures for gross to date and tax paid to date only have your earnings for your new employment.
There are several possible reasons for this but they all point to something having gone wrong. Without knowing details of the P45 or any P46 there is no way of telling what the error is or who caused it.

I would suggest first that you contact your payroll dept explaining that you are on a cumulative code but the pay and tax from your last employment that ended three weeks before you started here has not been added to your records. The fact that your last employer seems to have overtaxed you using 747L may be reducing the amount of tax you are underpaying if the 747L code was a mistake but as you started in Oct you will have had quite a few payments since then with no tax. Can you give similar details for you last payslip you have had?
