i can only find that 25% are sold through mutiple retailers such as M&S, Boots, Sainsburys etc

This says "Well over 3,000,000,000 sandwiches are purchased from retail or catering outlets each year and we paid over £6,000,000,000 for them – making the average price of a sandwich almost £1.91"

This would make the answer 26%.
