How to repay HSBC mortgage?

Options
Hi all,

I've searched but could not find any information. So I think my question must be stupid, but I'm still puzzled. I rather ask here before I call them.

I took a mortgage with HSBC last week and I want to make repayment. I give details of my bank account when I applied for the mortgage.
1. Will HSBC use direct debit to take repayment from my bank account, or should I pay monthly to them?
2. How can I track how much mortgage left and how much in total I have repaid?
3. Will HSBC send me monthly mortgage statement?

Thanks.

    Just ring them and ask.....

They should have sent you details of what is due to be paid. Did you set up a direct debit?

Usually your bank takes the money out by direct debit every month. The first payment is usually more as it included accured interest. The statements are usually sent yearly. You should received information about your mortgage where it's all written down....
