Yay! Payrise!

Options
Happily learned last week I am getting a payrise from May's paypacket  . OK it's only £651 per year (which is 2.85%) but I am going to use it to pay off Barclaycard. I have just amended my S/O to BC from £70 to £95 from next month so feel good about that already!
Also have updated my sig for the first time, as only last month i put all my debts on there, and that felt good too! It's amazing how much better you can feel after a few small things. Have religiously been clearing out my purse of shrapnel and putting it in my savings ball when i come home(which is handily placed by the front door, so thats quite often!!) and at the suggestion of other posters will put those savings in my big bottle each time the ball gets full.

That's great news! How are you going to work it? Are you going to set up a DD for the extra pay every month to ensure it doesn't get spent, or just increase payments?
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

I have just been online and cancelled the existing Standing Order to BC that was for £70, and then set up a new one for £95 from next payday, because i don't know exactly how much my payrise will mean in real money. When i get paid, if it turns out more than £25 in real money I'll put the S/O up again!

Thanks f85 - just noticed your sig - Good luck with your last exam tomorrow! :grouphug:
