Moving job and getting a mortgage

Hi,
Quick question for those that are up on lending criteria:
I am leaving my current employer to start with another in c4 weeks. I've been with my current employer c20 months. I've no gaps in my employment from when I started work.
Will this affect my ability to obtain mortgage finance? Will the mtg company be satisfied so long as I can show them the offer and my acceptance of it along with my agreed start date or will they want me to be with my new employer for 6 months+ or at least until a probationary period is passed?
Thanks in advance

Most lenders now will be happy with your most recent payslip, or even if you haven't started yet, a job offer letter, if you are in a probationary period you should be fine, provided it is a similar line of work.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
