DIP please......HELP

Hello quick question please....my partner is the main bread winner in the house and he basically earns 4 times my wages but I have got a dip in my name etc he can't as he has a default :(:( just one the mortage company skipton asked how much I pay for child care and I said its my partner who's wages pays all the bills
And my wages are just weekly living food petrol etc,
They now need to speak to under writers do I need to get some sort if letter from my child's nursery
To confirm this or how do u think this will turn out ? Surely they can't penalise me for not having major our goings?

Any advice is much appreciated thanks

    Not good I afraid...

You effectively want them to consider your good points ie credit rating, but not the commitments as want them to include OH income. I think they will want a joint application and would be surprised if they accept this I am afraid.

Does OH just have one default and if so dated when and is it settled?

So all he has is a £118 default. What date?

What purchase price and deposit do you have?

The purchase price is 210 and we have £92000 from the lift scheme and an additional 10-15 our own savings plus fees etc were limited cause only certain people take on lift scheme :( and yeah only 1 default

A local broker should have options. Usually one default of this amount should have a solution.

Not overly familiar with the LIFT scheme due to the geography, but I do not think Skipton will be happy and maybe worth getting a back up..

    Good luck
