I have had this error on my work internet explorer gmail

"Gmail is temporarily unable to access your Contacts. You may experience issues while this persists. Learn more"

However mail is still coming through and on my phone gmail account

Hi, I had this problem a while ago and used the quick steps on this thread which fixed the problem.

Might be worth giving it a go.

No idea then. Have you tried it on anything other than IE?

Chrome is the same and I have just noticed that although I am getting my emails, all my contacts have lost their profile pics etc

Yep they are all there, but I still get the message and when I write a new email it does not auto pick the email address. It's annoying more than an actual fault

It is an error though. If you google search it, tons of people have had the same error message. I'd just report the error to Google personally.

Well ive just been into my old account and all of my mail has appeared in the BIN folder. They werent in there before because thats one of the first things i checked. I have checked all the setting with my new email and they are all the same so god knows whats happening now. Im just going to use my new email addy, less hassle. Just means i will have to join all the comping sites again as and when i enter a comp.
