A friend had a "CO Payment" deducted from her salary.
Her company tell her it is a Court Order payment, which presumably means a CCJ has been issued against her.
She has never had a summons and, therefore, hasn't attended court.
She would, naturally, like to overturn this CCJ, on the grounds she didn't receive a summons, and was therefore unable to defend the case.
How can she find out which court heard the case and issued the CCJ?

Surely her employer has a record of why money is being taken from her salary?

The employer would get a formal order from the Court to take the attachment from her earnings. This order would state who owes the money, how much and who to. Ask for a copy?0
