Sending brownies through the post

Hi, my friend lives a long way away (but in the uk) and I've said for ages one day I will make her some brownies. I thought I might post some first class, I was thinking of tin foil around them then in a take away container before putting into a Jiffy bag. Do you think that will work or would there be a better thing to send them in? Thanks

I would put them in a tuperware-style container. Airtight, fairly crush-proof and lightweight too.0

If you must post them at all just make sure you do it before they get to be Girl Guides, the postage would be horrendous by then. Of course the sensible thing would be just to post them when they are Rainbows, you'd probably get away with first class stamps then as they are still so little at that age!!!!! Sorry, Cheers Lyn x.0

Took me a while to get that :rotfl:0 -
I would use a crush proof box, I think they would just be crumbs in tin foil and jiffy bags!!Slightly bitter0

Might be an idea to wait until the snow clears as that might affect delivery times in some areas?
When you do send them, I would send them guaranteed next day delivery so they get there as fresh as possible.0
