MUA 50% off and free delivery (min £15 spend)

Hello

Title pretty much says it all - HERE'S the link and the discount code is on the website, but I've put it on the discount/code forum too (entered when you checkout)
You need to spend £30 so £15 when discount is applied

Website has been shocking, up and down all day, but you might get lucky - their eye primer rocks!

Happy shopping!

They moved the goalposts with this offer....This morning they stated the minumum spend was £15.
People were going on the site, spending just over £15 and getting their goods for half price. Brilliant.... then came the following 'lovely' tweets from MUA:
You are all posting telling us you can't get on website - wait! Be patient!

Everyone please get off our website! We did warn you not to all go in at once, as otherwise no one will get the offer!

Hi all! Just to re-assure everyone, we are not going to run out of stock - we are just asking everyone as nicely...

Bloody rude, but still, I and a lot of others left the site. Going back to the site we have now discovered that not only is there a lot of items out of stock (so that tweet was a lie!) but the minimum order has doubled to £30! (£15 after discount) Seems MUA wanted us all off the site to put up the cost!

Oh, and just to put the final nail in their coffin, prices have strangely increased. A fixing mist that was £4 yesterday (proved through a cached page) is £5 today.

Have to say, I love MUA products but I find their customer service shocking and they come across as very amateur indeed. Every time they run a big promo like this they just infuriate their customers. Thanks for the heads up, OP, but I'll give this one a miss.
  • Sites been taken down how irritating!!

If they had said, "sorry, we are having an issue, we mistakenly logged the wrong discounts so we are going to have to go offline for an hour to sort it" I think most would have been sympathetic, but the rude tweets coupled with the lies and promises that items wouldn't be out of stock just made everything a whole lot worse.

I don't know who is responsible for their online PR but they really shouldn't be doing the job. You simply can't talk to customers the way MUA do over FB and Twitter and as you say their CS is just shocking.

Apparently they have now taken the site down yet again. They really have dropped the ball with this one.
  • tried to get on a few times today but no luck the site was so slow and wouldn't load and now its coming up with 404 webpage not found blimey if they're going to have an offer they should do things properly not keep moving the goal post changing prices.. saying that they did that this the last time round too when it was 35% I ordered loads then as well and even that time the website crashed and they changed from free delivery on any amount to free delivery over £10/£15 spend or something like that.. but they don't care they've got enough orders to last them a lifetime

I think there was money off some of their new stuff and some nail bits that ended yesterday.

I am one of those that has managed to order (minus a load of oos stock which I'm gutted about but knew would happen) but have had my PayPal email but no order confirmation. Waiting for the website to come back up so I can contact them
If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!

Good luck with that, lots of people trying to get some confirmation on the FB and not getting very far.

Someone said there had been a promotion on that spray, but the cache shows no offers at all, no **save** signs or logos, which is odd, so who knows.

I'll be sticking with W7 now.

I've experienced their rudeness on FB first hand and couldn't agree more! If they want to play with the big boys then they really have a long way to go. It really is a shame though as a lot of their products are brilliant and such great value for money. After bad experiences of their online service I only buy in Superdrug now though.
  • They had all these problems with the 35,000 likes offer, their servers couldnt cope so in hindsight they should have been better prepared and i agree about their rudenes,i cant believe they spoke to their customers like that! And i think they realised so many people were gona take advantage of the offer and decided to raise min spend to £30
Im only after the brushes then i dont think i will buy from them again!
