Frizzy hair help

Hi all,

my hair has become increadibly fizzy during last month.I cant do any hair style other than pony tail, its terrible. Anyone has good suggestions what can I do about it? I have already purchased an anti-frizz remedy from boots (the australian range) and it does nothing at all. I am on a budget so cant spend more for things which does not work. Help!

    Frizz ease serum?

But also...What's changed in the last month? Is your hair drying out with more heating on..can you leave just the tiniest amount of conditioner in to moisturise it?

Dove leave in conditioner and oil (2 in 1) sometimes helps my hair but you can only spritz it once or twice so your hair doesn't go greasy.

Or Argan oil, which is very good, but it is expensive.

    Ditto the Argan oil.

Or get a cheap Groupon type offer on a brazilian keratin treatment - they really work.

I have to change my hair routine to reflect things like this....otherwise my hair is a frizz ball. :D

My hair is prone to being very dry (very curly, long hair) so I conditioner only wash mainly (I am using wen ATM. But happy to use appropriate conditioners), and when its most damaging for my hair do a full attack against fridge...use my normal conditioner or wen as a leave in, and use a drop of argan or morrocan oil, then a mixture of fries ease and my stylingproduct. The combination of conditioner under the oil then the serum is enough for my hair, while serum alone can be a little drying, it seems to 'seal in' the conditioner and oil.

If your hair is less prone to dryness/frizz than mine then just leaving conditioner in over night before rinsing, cutting down on drying (if you use a hair dryer), or just a little oil or conditioner as a leave in alone might suffice. As to have the conditioner and it would involve no spend I would try that route first.

After rinsing hair as normal just put a tiny amount on hands and glide over hair but avoiding root area and comb through with fingers (or a comb if you don't have curly hair). If you get it near your roots it risks being itchy and looking greasy sooner.

I agree with LIR above! I too have curly hair and one of the best things I did was to start washing with conditioner - if you google curlie girl you will find a wealth of information out there about cutting out SLS and not using shampoo at all. I do still sometimes use a mild organic SLS free shampoo as my scalp gets itchy especially in the winter - central heating head I call it!! Good luck with your quest for frizz free - it's not easy but keep experimenting until you find what suits your hair best.

I'd still consider a ldrop of conditioner as a short term moisturiser. And personally, though I know die hard curly girl and c/o washers hate it...a serum. I love, love, love frizzease. It suits my hair and FOR ME works in conjunction with not using shampoo etc.

Longer term the stuff we curlies do would be too heavy, but of your hair is dry and frizzy...help it be less dry and frizzy I think!
