I'm just wondering are there any mortgage lenders out there that will give a mortgage to someone with bad credit who has a large deposit of £30K on a <£70K property?
Or are you basically stuffed on getting a mortgage with bad credit history?

What exactly is your bad credit history ?
Have you checked your credit reports ?0 -
Sorry the question is a bit generic. Yes there are lenders that will lend, but will depend upon the details.
Worthwhile achieving your Experian, Equifax and Call Credit reports and getting in front of a broker.
Key specifics are CCJ's, defaults and missed payments. When, how much and if settled are additional key considerations.
