Twitter Q.

Random people keep following me - small companies and blog people mostly - but are these people likely to report me for spamming if I comp too much?

Is it worth blocking people who just randomly follow so I reduce the chances of getting reported - or do Twitter keep an eye on accounts anyway, just like FB appear to do?

Random people follow me too. To start with, I started to block them, but then decided not to bother. I have never had a problem with being reported for being spammy or anything. If anyone follows me and does not like me entering competitions, they can easily unfollow me.

I just ignore ones that send messages saying do I want more followers, or have I seen some awful thing written about me, or telling me about bargain iPads.

    As what Marg said.

Twitter also has a follower limit too, you can only follow 2,000 people although that increases depending on how many followers you have, so I would keep them, especially as I hit the ceiling last week and had to use Twit Cleaner to filter out some space (my 273 followers meant my ceiling was 2,001)
Golly, I've got the newt pregnant...
