  • Groceries etc. is high, as is the mobile phones.

Also, I don't think they will allow anything for Satellite/Cable TV.

Food bill is high, shop around, Plus what's wrong with just having Freeview? We found that the Post Office is better price for line rental, and we pay £8.45 with O2 for broadband, ring them up, ask them if they've got any offers on for internet.
  • Cant shop around for Internet and line rental as have to have kc!!!

That's tesco shop so hardly buying waitrose.
  • im not good with soa but i think shopping is high regardless if its tesco or not! and as far as im aware from on here sky tv isnt allowed.
    holiday fund seems high also.

  • tbh im not sure but someone will come along who does. i dont think sky is set in stone but ive heard people say they dont allow it. im useless really as on benefit so they didnt take much notice of my figures. life insurance i think is a no .

Those are the ones I would think about, everything else is fine. When you have done the deed go and have a look on the Old Style board and try the Grocery Challenge and get some other tips about saving money on the grocery bill. I used to feed 5 for £350ish pm. and then you can use the money for other things.

Do you have to wear suits to work? £10/15 dry cleaning. Any professional fees/memberships?
