Can I be the first to say, I don't understand a word of what is being said here.

You might want to re-write it a bit more carefully and use some paragraphs or people might not bother to read it.

I'm afraid I don't know much about the legal position, although maybe somebody will be along soon who can help. However, you might get more help if you post on the relationships board. This board is for people trying to overpay their mortgages to encourage each other, so it's not really got people who are expert in the kind of question you are asking, although there are plenty of us here who've been through nasty breakups and will certainly feel for you.

Hope that helps, and good luck in your situation.

My ex wanted his name taken off the mortgage. He was on it officially for 7 months but he paid with me for five months longer.

He has rushed and pushed and mouthed off that if I cant take over, he'll put it on the market.

Every mortgage date he moans and kicks off, paying three days late etc.

I've managed to sort it. My new partner has said he'll take over.

A few weeks ago my ex threatened to remove all my furniture despite me paying towards it all, except the fridge. I offered him money before for bits and he was too busy making things hard to take up my offer.

So I had to say don't pay the mortgage anymore, sign the paperwork when it comes and call it quits.

He stopped paying and has paperwork but his (free via his work) solicitor told him to demand a copy of my council tax to prove that I've not had anyone living here.

My boyfriend has moved in now as the paperwork should be done by now. We are declaring it with council tax next week.

So what has the ex got to use against me? He seems to keep finding fault and clutching at straws.

If he doesn't sign the paperwork, he has wasted my time for six months, and my boyfriend's time. I have incurred costs with my solicior too. He signed saying he was happy to be removed.

So what are my rights now?

I've tried to make it a bit more readable but am not sure if this is how OP intended....
