Debt Management - Have I paid the bank too much?

Hi all,
This is my first time... so here goes.
I am currently paying off a significant amount of personal debt through a debt management charity. My intial amount owed stood at approx £65,000;I have made great efforts and it now stands at approx £20,000 - I have a few years to go but will pay everything off eventually.
One of my creditors took me to court and a CCJ was issued for approx £24,000 in 2008. Before the judgement I had already paid approximately £7,000 but this was not taken into account in relation to the total and it seems to have been dimissed/forgotten by the bank. Can I go back through the court process (or an alternative) as I have virtually paid off the £24,000; however they still claim that I owe them £7,000 - clearly not taking into account the money I had already paid. Feeling confused - can anybody help??
Many thanks in advance.
Eviann
