need help really stressed

hi me and my ex split last may. 7 months after he went on my mortgage. at first he moved 2 hours away an said hed pay with me tll the fixed rate finished in 2014. when i got a new partner he demanded he wanted to stop paying. he would not let me get a lodger but my boyfriend has been accepted to take over. my ex has stopped paying as he was threatning to clear my house out. now he has the paperwork he wont sign it over without evidence i havnt added anyone to council tax. my new bf has moved in to help and ill add him to council tax now but what else can my ex start before signing. hes the one who wanted off. he paid for a year and four months and ive owned it for 3 and half years. got 35 years left. i feel hes going to stop me keeping it but i can afford to and i want to move on and get this dobe. helpppp

If he wants to move on with his life, and you want to move on with yours, try and have a rational, non-emotive conversation about what he wants you to do about the mortgage (and presumably the title deeds for the property). Does he want money? Is it about whether he's been paying for some of the mortgage whilst you've had someone else living in 'his' house? If you know what he wants, you can either agree and sort it out, or start negotiating.

As you know, getting a property together is a huge step - with your new partner as well as having already changed your own mortgage/house ownership to include you ex. Please think carefully.

yeah he was paying stopped. now my bf whose signed up to the mortgage is going on so hes moved in. hes been given offers of me buying stuff off him. hes been offered a lodger. he just wanted out. he didnt ask for money just wanted off. hes got a copy of my council tax and he said hel keep me informed. he has a free solicitor at work who keeps telling him what hes entitled to do but originally he just said he wants of the mortgage. he changed the goal post every month. he goes through my mum now as he keeps threatning and wont be mature. i just want to know my rights.
