Can I join, I need to get rid of a cc by August so if I aim to clear half of it in this challenge I should be on target.

    Lets say £1500

    Hi everyone!!!

Thanks Amara for running this challenge again! It really helps me to stay focused...

When I first had my lightbulb moment my total debts + a £1000 emergency fund = £12,500.00. With the help and support of this forum and others... I've cleared/saved 17% so far.

I was clearing a minimum of 2% per month/payday off my debt (£250.00)...

In order to clear more I have moved into a shared house, near to work so that I can really max out my debt clearing. I have tightened my budget and have been doing a few hours over time... I have pushed that up to 5% per month/payday (£625.00)...

I am now going to challenge myself to (a) stick to this budget and use all spare income on debt... and (b) clear an extra 2% per month (£250.00) through living extra frugally and doing extra over time!!!

    I've worked out I have 4 x paydays between 21st Jan and 01st May... 4 x 7% = 28% = £3500.00... This will bring to a nice round 45% cleared if I can do it...

I pledge to clear £3500.00 in 100 days!
