Help, my chicken is still partly frozen!

Options
I took it out of the freezer yesterday but it's still frozen underneath.
Do you think it will be ok if I sook it at a lower temp for a while then increase the heat for the rest of the time?

    It won't fit the chicken is big & the microwave small.

    Put the chicken in a bowl in the sink and let COLD water run over it. The water does not have to be turned on full blast, just a steady stream.

    put it bottom up so that the cold water runs into the cavity and over the bird. the inside will need defrosting from inside to out.
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.
