Dear everyone,
Apologies if my question is very simple or silly. I would be grateful if someone could advice.
I and my husband has been saving for many years into our joint saving account. Just wondering to proof of deposit, how many months of bank statement do I need to present in order to proof of deposit BY SAVINGS. Can I show only 9 months saving accounts statement enough to proof deposit from savings?

Depends on the lender, and what the statement shows, some will not need any, but generally if the statement shows a build up from income that will e fine, if the lender sees a £50k deposit last week, they will then want to see where that came from, and the build up of that.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. we both transferred from our current account (our salary comes into current account) average £400 to £550 each per month (total £800 to £1100) into our joint saving account and also withdraw some small amount during each month when we require i.e. £10, £50 or £100 plus Interest received by bank. Is that fine to proof from our savings?
We applied through Nationwide and waiting for decision from underwriters.0 -

Probably, although, generally Nationwide do not ask for proof of deposit if under £50,000.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
