New Build Mortgage Problem

Hi
My wife and I are first time buyers and are hoping to buy a new build that has just been released for sale. The house is due to be completed by October 2007 however a mortgage must be in place by the end of May. My wife is currently working however I will not be working until September. As payments would not start until the house is completed does anyone know of a lender that will arrange a mortgage based on a guaranteed job that would start before payments were due? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?? Thanks
