Manual treadmill or Electric ???

Does anyone have a manual treadmill, and if so, are they any good?
If they are not that good, I will get a cheap motorised one from Tesco, but I would rather get a cheaper one, if a manual one is ok!
I just want to get fit and burn some fat, not train for a marathon, so I don't need all the gadgets, like calories used and timers.
Thanks for any help.

Hi, I bought mine from JJB Sports. It cost me £500 but they gave me interest free credit over 10 months
My theory was, I would cancel my Gym membership and use the treadmill at home. I find it MUCH better that draging myself out to the gym after arriving home.
I got a motorised one : It ahs inscline and various programmes
Cardio
Fat Burning
Fitness
ect
It has a 2 year warranty
I think something like this where you are actually investing (In your health) is not worth skimpingon.
One tip - -make sure the width of the treadmill is wide enough for safety

thankyou for the help, but £500 is too much to spend, at the moment.
I have seen non-motorised ones, for about £100, and wondered if they were any good, as I only need to use it for about half an hour a day, just walking fast, as my poor knocking knees won't take a pounding from me jogging!0
