Last Pass

Hello,

I read on here somewhere that someone uses last pass. I have downloaded it as well as having a paid for Roboform.

The reason why I have downloaded it is because it is free forever, unlike Roboform that you need to pay for yearly.

I am training it, when I come onto a page that Roboform has filled in for me I click on lass pass & it remembers the website, username & password that Roboform has filled in for me.

Also for filling out the ITV competitions that Roboform has refused to fill in, last pass fills them in straight away, so last pass is better at this.

Also all the information is encrypted & stored there end so if you have a computer melt down you just need to re install last pass & all your info is there.

Also I like that it can generate a secure pass word.

I thought I would let you all know so you can try it for yourself

By the time my Roboform year is up, last pass will know all my log ins.

I've never used Roboform but have used Last Pass for the last 2 years. I find it easy to use and you can set up profiles too.
Thanks to those that post the comps!!

It will certainly save me money from now on. I only wish I had known about it three years ago when I started comping!

Oh well never mind I hope a few more people will see this & save them the money too

I use lastpass too. I did download the free version of Robo form just for fillling the "no thanks" on the dailies, because I did not know how to adapt that for Lastpass.
  • There is a desktop version of Roboform that is a one off payment. It sounds like you got the Anywhere version which will allow you to carry your settings to different computers and tablets and that is a yearly subscription to use the service.

I only had the option of the free version I had used the trial time up or paying for the Anywhere version.

I would of had the desktop version if I knew about it

I use lastpass too after someone recommended it on here.

I kept having too many problems with roboform on safari. Every so often it used to freeze and shutdown and roboform seemed to be the cause of it all.

I've had no problems since i've switched to lastpass!

I too downloaded Last Pass a few months back on a recommendation here, and find it very good, I also use Fireform for firefox, which is good for the daily tick boxes and loco comps.

When I use my netbook I can also login in to lastpass and retrieve all the passes I use on my pc.

I've been working on getting LP to fill those tick boxes for a while now. Strange how it fills The Times comp ticks with no problem, but with dailies it struggles?

I gave up and downloaded the free version of Roboform, it expired 77 days ago but still does the daily boxes okay.
