I started this degree in computing several years back and am only getting back to it this year, I had the hope it would get me a better job, this is my 3rd course now and I'll have 120 credits at the end if I pass so approx half way there. Degrees should be for the fun. Of course the 'job' might help get through those horrible modules, but as a whole, a love for learning and for the subject should be your driving force. Not that many people don't get through a degree with a job as motivation.

You need to tailor your CV for the job. Miss off the degree for lower jobs, include it for higher jobs/IT jobs.
