Thanks, I wonder if we'll have meat down here. Don't really want sausages, but it would be a start.
Not sure if I'll get there today, loads and loads of snow!!!

Time to stock up on some vitamin C! - although on reflection, not that much cheaper than bags available from the supermarket.

I wonder if it eventually turns out to be pig pork..... or horse pork ; ) not a lot of trust in what your buying, and this applies to all supermarkets who rely on suppliers and third hand suppliers etc, etc a big food chain for easy profit by unscrupulous individuals

Just to confirm, identical offers in the North East - think I'll give it a miss, but happy as I'm staying frugal in January.
Hope lean mince or chicken breasts come soon and maybe half-price bacon again.

From Thursday, I noticed an offer on UHT semi-skimmed milk. 12 cartons for £6 - so 50p per carton against normal price of 66p per litre carton (24% saving).
The lean beef mince is on offer from Thursday for £2.15 per 500g - but too dear for me and I'll wait. lol

    Roll on the week after.

I popped into a local Lidl today and was amazed by some of the non-food offers they had. Amongst the deals were packs of 2 floating shelves (metal, could be hooked onto shelves to use up wasted space) for £4.99 and 10-packs of primroses half price at just £1.49 (vs the 65p per pot my local garden centre charges). Couldn't resist them.

Also loads of LED lights - didn't buy although I was tempted.
