I still say this is a loss to the high street. For latest releases you can go to the supermarket or online sure, but what about when you want to browse? Randomly browsing online is not the same and you end up being 'directed' to what the site wants you to buy.
I really feel that some cult classics will be lost forever due to noone finding them in future. Found a very odd film at the weekend at HMV that i would never have found online....because I wasnt looking for it..it found me :-)

The debt has been bought by Hilco which owns HMV Canada so they are now in effective control of HMV.Hilco believes there to be a viable underlying HMV business and will now be working closely with Deloitte who, as administrators, are reviewing the business to determine future options.0 -
