Hi Folks,
I recieved an email from a person at "iGlobal Enterprises"-who said they have come across my cv and have a career opportunity for me- I quote:
"Currently we are recruiting Business Development Managers across the UK. Training is provided. I feel you might be the sort of person who can work with this company to spearhead business in the UK. As an alternative source of income we offer is an excellent career, income and secure future opportunity either part time (5-7 hrs a week) or full-time, (15-20hrs a week) - £1200 to £3500 plus per month; income, which is also residual, provides a pension when you decide to retire"
It says I need to arrange a chat and interview etc.
In a nutshell it is for FLP - Forever Living Products.
Looking on the internet etc its a tad confusing as some write ups suggest it is legit and a good way to make money and others say its a con?
I wondered if anyone has had any experience and could fill me in? Say for example are there upfront fees?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I dont want to miss what could be a potentially good thing but I also dont want to waste my time and effort on something thats a con!!
many thanks! Michelle

The fact that it is multi level marketing puts me right off. A few fat cats at the top get a cut of everything, and the lower down you are - which initially depends on when you started - the more you lose or the less you earn.
Have you seen the discussion on Arbonne? That should open your eyes. Very few of their reps earn more than pocket money.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

I give it 24 hours for the influx of 'this is the best thing since sliced bread' drive-by-postings from FLP reps start.0

I like aloe vera products myself, but I would never buy them from someone who was part of an MLM scheme.
Just do your research and make up your own mind.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Considered to be well run in the UK not considered to be a Pyramid scheme by the authorities here. https://www.facebook.com/foreverlivingproductsuk/info
Recent article in the Guardian about them. http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2002/oct/18/consumernews.consumeraffairs1
If this group/team and others approach people by saying they are someone else and then disclosing they are FLP and are not showing a wealth warning they are pushing their luck of course.
Not for me not into pills, potions, lotions not even a spatula.!!!:D0 -
This probably sums it (and other MLMs) upIndependent observers, such as Les Henderson, author of Crimes of Persuasion: scheme, scams and frauds, have noted that the products tend to be over-priced and distributors often end up selling to their friends and family - which could explain your friend's eagerness to sell to you.0
