Natwest Charges

Hi All
I just wanted to say that from this site I have successfully reclaimed £639 from Natwest in charges.
It has taken 8 weeks to do and they responded yesterday to the second letter template from this site so I didn't need to take it to court.
If anyone is thinking of doing it from Natwest and they have only recently opened an account (say within 8 months) all I did was, on my online banking page, filter all my transactions to Charges and they all come up on the screen, print screen and paste into a word document and post it off as proof - it saves you more time rather than writing and requesting copies of your statements.
They were £40 short of my original request but I am not going to pursue that so no fuss at all.
Thanks for this terrific site, I wouldn't have been able to do it without it!!!

Well Done.
Obviously NatWest know that their charges ARE unlawful, otherwise they would have forced you into taking them to court, and have made you an offer that you could (and SHOULD) not refuse.
I hope more people are inspired by your success.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
