I know they are a bit pricey but if you love Barbour (style, durability, quality) as I do, then this offer is for you!
Barbour Womens Brown Liberty Beadnall Wax Jacket in Brown reduced by a whopping £91.60 - 40%) now at Psyche (most sizes)
I bought this exact jacket in the Green (Barbour original colour) yesterday, just got delivered by FedEx - next day and to say it is awesome is an understatement. I love it so much I just ordered another in the Brown. If you love Barbour, get this whilst you can (Green sold out now, I bought last one in Green but plenty in Brown) I doubt you'd ever get this jacket anywhere else at this price.
Buy here at Psyche (The Norths premier dept. store and no I don't work for them, I just shop there - FAB customer service, next day delivery, superb packaging)

Hi I'm not being cheeky but what is so special about Barbour. I don't know much about the jackets. Is it like UGGs where you are paying for the quality of the material or is it because they are really fashionable?0

I assume you are very young to not have heard about Barbour? they have been around decades and decades, premium outdoor clothing often favoured by the country set. This jacket is a merger into combining country quality and style with city chic - the merger with the two styles went well. I have a Barbour trench coat (full length) that I bought over 20 years ago, it still looks brand new today and I wear it all the time. Cost me around 300 pounds 20 years ago. Barbour is ultimate quality, style, and longevity. Doesn't ever make sense to buy cheap rubbish that falls apart after one season, nor does it ever make financial sense to buy something that will be out of fashion in a year. Barbour doesn't go out of fashion - for these reasons Barbour is more expensive than fashion clothing. But yes, the quality of workmanship is second to none.0 -

Then you wouldn't be wanting to either buy or wear Barbour - that budget would fit only cheap imitations. Barbour at this price is a steal as anyone who knows Barbour will know. John Lewis still selling this jacket at full price, as are most other top retailers. Maybe you thought it was one of those cheap wax copies you find in some high streets?0 -
I often wonder why those who either cannot afford or wouldn't dream of paying premium prices for premium goods even bother to look at a thread offering a great deal on a premium product - only to sneer at it, make irrelevant comments or just to complain. These boards attract all sorts of readers - readers in debt who are looking for cheap things that they can afford to the other end of the scale attracting those with money who choose to look for deals appropriate to them. I post offers that appeal to me (that's how I found them and bought them myself) and I assume they will appeal to others like me. My posts are not there for all, and I do wonder why those not interested just make comments that are not really related in fairness to the deal. Just because one person wouldn't dream of paying what I will pay for a coat, does not mean there are not others who will be happy to. These boards cater to all and I also notice that those that make comments in a negative way, don't thank the original poster. So why bother if its not for you? I don't make comments on threads offering shampoo at 50p a bottle as its not for me, but I do appreciate it is appropriate for others. This board needs all types of offers, those for not so well off people and those for well off people. Well off people love a deal, thats usually why they are well off, they shop carefully and carefully doesn't always mean 50p shampoo's etc, it may mean a Barbour Jacket that will last them a decade.
I won't be answering any more derogatory posts, I am here to post offers to those that want them and for the thanks that 5 board users gave my post, I can at least assume I pleased 5 people by posting this offer. Thanks for your thanks people, glad to have shared the offer with you. To others, maybe my posts aren't where you should hang out huh.0 -
Hi. Were you referring to my question? It was an honest, innocently-motivated question. I'm not young and have heard of Barbour but have never really tried one on or thought about buying one as I don't know much about the brand and wanted to know more about it. I could afford one if I wanted but was just curious why people love the brand so much and if it was worth paying the extra for. I was genuinely interested but found your reply aggressive and a bit over the top.suburbanwifey wrote: »I often wonder why those who either cannot afford or wouldn't dream of paying premium prices for premium goods even bother to look at a thread offering a great deal on a premium product - only to sneer at it, make irrelevant comments or just to complain. Hi Jelly, no I wasn't referring to your posts, I appreciated your post was a genuine question.0 -
In that case it has to be mine post. So what if I wanted 50% off of 50%. Barbour is special to you, I respect that. For me it isn't. I find their range very boring. But I don't say I wouldn't buy it if it was bargain.suburbanwifey wrote: »Hi Jelly, no I wasn't referring to your posts, I appreciated your post was a genuine question.0 -
