Hi, I am new here, if you look on the loans section, you will see my problem.
This is all very new to me and I am looking to get things straight as soon as I can. I have noticed people here have spoken about Payplan and CCCC.
I looked up Payplan and noticed a number of sites, is Payplan a method, rather than a company ? Does it matter who you choose? I was hoping to be able to raise funds on an unsecured loan and pay it off ASAP, by putting as much as I could into it.
Any advise, experiences you have will be gratefully received.

Payplan are a charity that help you manage your debts when you are having problems paying. They will set up a debt management plan for you or assist you in setting up an IVA if that is the way that you should go. Most people will say that taking on a secured loan to pay of debts is not a good idea as you are not paying them off, only shifting them and you are not getting to the root of the problem that caused you to be in debt in the first place, (been there, done that
).

Hi again, I have just read your post in the loans section. What I said before still stands, but you are in a good position to take on a secured loan (even if it not reccomended on here!!), no other mortgage, debts etc. I would definitely give payplan or the CCCS (they both do the same thing) a call before I done anything. They will be able to give you impartial advice on the best course of action. It may be that with the good levels of income that you say you have you can pay all these off in a reasonable amount of time without resorting to refinancing. In the meantime think about posting an SOA and the people on here may be able to help free up some money each month to throw at these pesky debts.0
