o2 told me on Monday they had manually settled the file on my credit report (paid full amount) and it would be updated withing 48 working hours on Noddle, Experian & Equifax (I only use the first two)
Does that mean it could take up to 5-6 working days basing on 8-9 hours per working day? Anyone ever had anything like this before?
Cheers

No, I think they mean 2 working days (2 x 24 hours), as opposed to the weekendOne man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0

Nothing has happened since Monday, rang Noddle today and they said they have nothing on it yet and neither have Experian, as long as it updates thats all I care about."All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered, the point is to discover them."

With Noodle it seems to take a month or two to show up. Are you desperate to have it removed? If not just keep checking and give it a couple of weeksOne man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0

I'm not worried as they said it won't be on file as default just one late payment which isn't amazing but it will be on a fully closed and settled account but at least its not a default."All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered, the point is to discover them."

I liaise with my company's credit file queries and if they remove anything for a customer, they always advise the CRA's don't update for a month after we make the changes.
I'd probably wait for a month and then follow up.0 -
Interesting as I have e-mails from o2 stating they manually put the account as settled it would update within 48 working hours, it'll be as settled so its all good."All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered, the point is to discover them."

But isnt it the credit ref companies who update the records after the receive info from companies (o2 on this case)? If so then its not o2 you are waiting on but credit ref companies. Just a thoughtOne man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0

That's what I was trying to explain.
We update the CRA's when the changes are made but they don't always update them until the month after. If o2 have said they will have done it then that's great - just don't hold your breath at Experian and the others to show it immediately!!0
