Help! Can't do formatting when I write a post/comment/thread

I cannot use the formatting facilities when I write a tread. Also when I do several carriage returns this is not registered and all my text comes out as one large paragraph. I would like to be able to use bold, underline ect but they no longer work for me... don't know why. Suspect is has something to do with the MSE sight upgrade that happen recently but I could be wrong. There are a few other MSErs with the same problem also...Can you help PLEASE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
