Barclay Loan Interest Rates
I am considering taking out a barclay loan as i bank with barclays and have a pre approved offer of £23200 the interest rate availablet o me online is 9.9% do any of you know if i contact them will there be any chance of them reducing that rate as other lenders are doing the loan for 6.2% have any of you tried this?

I've been a customer of Barclays and Barclaycard for over 25 years. I have a good credit history yet when I applied for a loan when they headlined 5.6% last year, they came back with an offer at 7.7% which wasn't competitive. I wrote and spoke to Barclays but they refused to negotiate. They said 7.7% was their best offer so I declined and made other arrangements.Signature on holiday for two weeks0
