I have tried googling this but no joy.
I noticed that the fan isn't always starting up in my oven straight away and twice slamming the door (thinking it was broken
) has started it up.
The oven hasn't been cleaned in ages and when I do I avaoided the back panel due to any electrics being behind the fan, but I suspect that the fan may be sticking from cooking residue and need cleaning.
Is it safe to spray the cleaning solution on the fan panel?

I wouldn't, personally, as it'll be impossible to clean all the spray out from back there - meaning that it'll be burned off in your oven as you cook and those are some unhealthy chemicals.
You may be able to remove the casing though and get at it for cleaning that way.0 -
Thats another concern I had. I will see if DH can pull it out and if the back comes off as you can't get to it from the front.
I did wonder about a vinegar or bicard based cleaned but not sure how effective it would be.One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
