OK. If I get a quote via Gocompare can I then go back via Quidco straight to the insurers website and type in the quote no?
Will I get quidco cashback this way?
Or do I need to go via quidco and then start a brand new quote?

Be careful. Quidco and others have been known for not paying out because the 'lead' was generalted by another company.
E.g. If you go to quidco, then the company and use the quote number from Gocompare they will be able to recognise that it came from go compare and reward them the cashback rather than yourself.
I would start a new quote (although I think it can still be followed think you have a 50/50 chance of getting the cashback). Also be warned, that the quotes are not always the same as gocompare may have preferential rates so MAY be cheaper.
On another note, use topcashback. They are better lolI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Ha ha warned you. Been playing this game for a few years.
Worth looking into a few companie that are not on comparison sites as well. Takes a little time but worth doing.
I normally look on topcashback and order the list so I can see who is paying the highest cashback. I pick the top two which I haven't got a quote off through a comparison site (e.g. I don't think aviva are) and then go have a look at them.
Takes a little time and effort but worth doing if you have it to spare.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Why would you want to go via Go compare? Its ok to get cashback £1 ish just for them to compare it for you but never buy from them you can get cheaper if you shop around.
I like Aviva - Last weekend I got a cashback of £40.40 then last couple of days ago silly bu99er increased their cashback to £60ish:(:( but I was too lazy to cancel my initial cover & restart again.
It was topcashback. Top cash back is better than quidco in my opinion. The only problem you have to bear in mind is that you have to pay the full amount say £300 and only after 9 weeks or so will you be able to see your cashback.
Another thing you have to remember - Aviva does not work properly when using firefox or googlechrome. You have to use IE to log in your cashback website.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
