Waiting for a Prize

Hello

On the 11th of Decemeber I received a email telling me I have one a 47" Finlux Tv through ZOO.

Gave my details and was told they will try and send this before the 21st.

The TV did not arrive and on the 2nd of January I was contacted by the the competition organisers (Grapevine Digital) and asked if it had arrived yet. Told her it hadn't so she said she would chase it up.

Got another email on the 7thy stating that Finlux are asking for a contact number for me, gave this and have not heard anything since.

I sent an email on Monday 14th and have not had a reply.

The fact that the competition as a ZOo competition makes me thinks its legit but just want to know how long do people generally wait and if anybody has had dealings with Grapevine before.

not had dealings with that company before but as to how long I have waited

93 days from being notified that I won something, it turned up 2 days before xmas 2011.

and from the c/d to being notified I had won around 4 months, although that turned up the following week it took them ages to notify me.

don’t give up hope yet it will turn up

Wow, I did not know that happenes, thats made me feel a bit better. I will just have to wait and hope....everytime the missus calls me I hope it is to tell me it turns up.

I'd take the fact that the companies involved are pro-actively contacting you as a good sign. I usually allow a good 28 days before chasing up a win, usually with a polite, "Thank you so much again, can you tell me when I am likely to receive it so I can make sure I don't miss the post". The companies have always been lovely but it can still take them a few more weeks to get it sorted. I'm sure you'll receive it soon, well done on your win

I admit, I agree, the factthat they contacted me definitely raied my hope. Its the first time I have had a big win and will maybe give it to the end of the month and send another police email.
