Wilkinson 75% off Sale

Hi All,

Today I went to my local store on a hunch that the toys will be 75% off. The banners and stickers still said 50% off only. However I checked a few I wanted and most of them were 75% off.

But there seems to be no rhyme or reason regarding the % off, because some were less than 75% off while some were more than 75% off. For example, a Nerf gun was £8 (original price £25) while a Hello Kitty set was only £2 (original price £10)

There was nobody else in our store and not even the staff were aware of them being 75% off.

Was in our local around 10:30 and there was not much left. Had meeting earlier or would have been first thing as thought there sale was usually same week as boots sale too. Got a couple of lego figures for 50p. Sales assistant was marking things and some already marked so the few bigger things that were left from the other week had already gone. Checked a roll of wrap and it was still 50p so not sure when/if Christmas stock will get reduced further (isn't it around now they have it reduced to 10p?)

No, I think it is a few weeks after this. I got loads of stuff for 10p about 3 years back. But last year, I think they didn't do it at all and just donated the left over xmas tress, etc to local schools.

Anyway I think Wilko are much better at the stock levels this year as there was hardly any toys left at even 50%.

Today it was only myself at my store, but there was nothing much I wanted and also the selection was very poor.
