On bankruptcy day and other questions

Hello,I'm saving my fees for banruptcy after 5 years of a DMP
and I year to an IVA
My circumstances have changed , my personal ones and now I've spoken to my IVA company and said I can't afford to pay anymore.
It took me years to get the courage to be bank rupture , probably like everyone here.
They gave the implication that they could make a recommendation to prevent bankruptcy .
So I'm asking you if this can happen.
I'm also trying to find contents ins , I rent , it asks if I've been bankrupt and I haven't but I need to plan for it.
Also I'm not in arrears with my fuel bill but when I do go BR if its allowed do I need to tell my supplier ? And go to card and key for electric and gas ?

Hi,,has your IVA actually failed yet? To fail, payments need to cease. Once failed, pretty much the only recourse is a debtors petition

You can do all this yourself...rather than paying a company to do the writing for you.

Regarding contents insurance?

Change your insurer, as not all concern themselves with BR..[Co-op, for example].

Regarding fuel?

With no arrears, there is no reason for them to place you on a card system. [in my experience]...as it is unlikely you are having trouble paying your bills.

I'm in th process of cancelling it The man I spoke to early kind of hinted that the compny I am with makes a report to the omnibus people that they recommend an IVA
