Post Bankruptcy clean up - past mortgage

Hello!
I hope someone can shed some light! I am in the process of cleaning up my credit file and wondered what happens with my old mortgage - as in, house repossessed by NRAM last April, it has since sold subject to contract, but not yet completed. There is a shortfall of over £40,000 which i understand will fall into my bankruptcy.
It still shows on my credit file as a default each month. Will this always be the case until my 6 years are up, or do I need to do something? I did send them the letter from the sticky on here, but in true NRAM style they didnt reply!
Any help would be great - thank u in advance!
