Really pleased when we went to Claire's at the weekend. It was still 3 for £5 and my two (age 8 & 5) were spending £5 of their christmas money each. The girl must have been listening to me gently encouraging them to get the better items and when we got to the punter she said "you don't want that, it isn't that good, why don't you get..." and they both happily chose something much better. She then asked if they could have a lolly each (without them hearing) as she had 3 broken big lollies that she couldn't sell.

So a big thank you to the lovely lady :T
  • went and got some bits from my local. great items to use as extras for birthday presents, and make great party bag things.
sealed pot No 1954 starting balance £25.07
  • Hi went into Claire's today and they had started their 10 selected sale items for £10. Only the scarves, hats and gloves were not included. I managed to get 5 pairs of tights, a pair of tweezers with light, a couple of Hello Kitty necklaces, a child's lipgloss set and some hair clips. The original value would have been £65. Quite a saving. Loads left.:T

I did this today too. Managed to get children's jewellery sets with 3 bracelets and 6 rings in the offer - will be great to split for party bags! They also had pink Moshi monster purses, fairy wings and other dressing up bits included

So how is the offer worked at other stores? My local one has about 4 stands of sale stuff with signs above saying 10 for £10, however only items that have a red sticker on are included.

I took the red sticker to mean, the red price labels they put on sale stuff, however a member of staff said it was only items that has a red dot sticker on too.

This was basically a few pairs of earings, so the majority of stuff on the 'sale' stands, wasn't part of this offer

When I got the items on thursday the labels mine had were a selection of handwritten labels, red dots and the usual red and white sale stickers - sales assistant was lovely and apologised for the delay as she had to put each one in manually but all the above labels were included.
