I'd consider ditching the xmas saving, there is no point saving when you are in debt, deal with xmas when xmas comes.
in fact, i might even go so far as to say that you should chuck the £80 you've saved so far (assuming that i isnt locked away) at one of the following
Capital One £200 @ £15pm 1.563%
Mint Card £400.00 @ £15.00 14.88%
Barclaycard £280 @ £5pm 27.9%
particularly the capital one or barclaycard. in terms of the total sum of the debt £80 is quite a substantial dent in any of those balances, and would go some way to free up some much needed extra £s to chuck at a high apr debt
dont forget that once you've cleared the balance in full to cancel the account to help improve your credit rating.
as for your budget in general... when you go food shopping, only take the £25 cash. that way there is no way your budget can spiral. you cant be tempted by anything you dont need, because you wont have the cash to pay for it.
make sure you make a list of whats in the cupboard, so that you are not buying things that you dont need. cut down on the sweet treats
same again with daily trivial spending.. if you dont take it with you, you cant spend it. quite simple really. you cannot afford to not control your spending - sorry if that sounds harsh, but if you dont step up to the mark your debt situaton will only get worse.
on a making money front, have you tarted the 'free' money on quidco (dvd trial subscriptions, signing up to things etc)? even if its only an extra tenner ot two, it gives you that extra little bit of breathng space.
good luck with your journey and reducing your debts.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
