Third Parties

When entering competitions I normally tick the boxes to receive info and offers from the people running the comp and the people sponsoring the competition but I opt out of the third parties box because I don't want to be inundated with e-mails and phone calls.
However, with ITV comps there is a joint tick box for ITV and third parties so I tend not to tick this.
What do you do on this one? and do you think it affects your chances by not ticking it?

I always leave the marketing tick boxes exactly as I find them. It SHOULDN'T make any difference, but why risk that you're going to reduce your chances? I get loads of spam, but it only takes seconds to delete!

Yeah... That's the thing. I know it doesnt reduce my chances. But as my comping email address has mail boxes set up, and I check all of my mail as it comes anyway. (iMail is a Lifesaver) i never have that many to go through
I haven't got a single piece of junk mail. (Even when I accepted 3rd parties)
