Writing for Income

I'm just wondering whether anyone else has looked at writing for extra income? Websites, articles, that sort of thing?

I did search the forums before posting this - have seen the textbroker thread (have written for them a few times) and have also done a little work on The Content Authority and signed up for Constant Content. Are there any other sites that anyone could recommend?

Eta: I just grabbed a couple of freebie books from Amazon (very MSE!) -

Freelance sites such as Freelancer.com and Elance often have projects for people to write (and proofread) website content and ebooks.

Thanks for that! I have looked at Elance - I'll have to get a profile set up there. Do you find it easy to get work or is it really competitive for those of us who can't accept $5 an hour? There seems to be a lot of very low-priced overseas companies advertising there...

I don't bother writing content for other people, I just can't justify the return - as you say, there are too many low-cost providers.
