Kelly kettle?

Hi, does anyone use one of these as a money saving tool? I currently boil a full kettle and decant the unused hot water into a flask for later use but wondered if a Kelly kettle might be a good investment

I do what you do, boil the kettle, decanting the excess into a thermos type flask i call 'the white thing'. The water in it stays hot for quite a long while so i may only need to boil the kettle 3 or 4 times a day. Having said that, i sometimes may not need to use much water and may alternately only boil enough water for the one or two cups of tea i am making at the time.

I have a kelly kettle and would not recommend it for indoor use at all, but it's great to have as a backup just in case we have a power cut and want to boil water outside. Can't see many people being keen to go outside the house every time they want hot water for a cuppa, though!0
