How long does it take to receive Unique Taxpayer Reference?

I assume you are talking as an individual registered as being self-employed? It should be within 3 weeks but HMRC can be very busy this time of year.
My Ltd. company UTR took nearly four weeks to come through last year.
As long as you have registered properly, give them a call if you have not heard within three weeks.0
