Good offer, but think the side dishes are limited selection.

Already have a pre-xmas reduced whole chicken so will pass on this one.

so disappointed with this deal - went to the new simply food in Coatbridge yesterday, all they had was belly of pork (yuck), some pretty average looking chickens and the glazed cook at home ham, veggies were potatoes or green beans - nothing else! very poor selection, singularly unimpressed

Don't really think it's really fair to slate the whole deal just because the store you went to didn't have much stock?? I think it's a great offer for a fiver, and usually if you go in the morning you have the pick of the full selection, large chickens and the full assortment of accompaniments.

with respect, not slating the deal, merely pointing out my disappointment in the poor selection available, the deal would have been great if even a few alternative vegetable options were available, am a great fan of the original £10 meal deal, and there always seems to be plenty of selection with that

Have to agree with deebee the promotions from M&S look great on paper or TV but in reality have been poor over the whole of the 'seasonal' period and beyond with low stocks and poor choice. Last weekend dine for two being a prime example, only gammon left with lots of sides, this was at 2pm on saturday afternoon.
Not impressed so will be giving it a miss also.

Fabulous deal, my local M&S had some of the chickens priced at £6 plus.
Think the earlier you shop there, the more likely you are to getting the better deal.
