Does anyone know how long you can keep food on the warm setting of a slow cooker once it is cooked? Thanks in advance.

I often put a stew or chilli on to cook before I leave the house in the morning and don't go near it until dinner time....could easily be 10 or 12 hours. Once you have enough liquid that it won't dry out you should be fine for a full day.0
