can you freeze flapjack and banana bread?

i suspect the flapjack would be fine but how would banana bread fair? we often have banana left which i could make a bread etc but not want to eat it right away so wondered if i can freeze it?

I can't see any reason why you couldn't. I would slice it before freezing though because once defrosted it would need to be eaten fairly quickly as I don't think it would keep very long; and you shouldn't refreeze it once defrosted.

Hi OP,
Banana bread freezes fine but if it's more convenient for you, overripe bananas can be frozen too - then you just peel them, mash them and make banana bread/muffins/whatever at a time that suits you.

hmmm interesting didnt think to mash and freeze.though making banana bread then freezing in slices and maybe take it out and have with custard as an easy dessert sounds a good plan too.£18 for my old mobile.
