It was Tesco's "Value Range" that contained the highest volume of horse meat.

I've found it tough lately working on the Tesco meat counter....

I feel like I'm flogging a dead horse.

I am surprised that a tesco value burger has 30% of ANY meat in it.

I had a horse steak when camping in France.
Bought it in a supermarket and cooked it on the BBQ,tasted just like a nice piece of beef steak.
The funny thing was ,that when I had finished eating, there was a piece of meat left on the plate, and it was in the shape of a horses head, ears and all:rotfl:
Doesn't bother me in the slightest eating horse,at least it is proper cuts of meat and not bits of ear, cartilage, nose, eyeballs, etc, that would normally go into these cheap burgers and sausages;)

D'ye know I buy burgers from Tescos and I had been wondering why I have such an urge to jump over the garden fence!

    Now I know.
