Mine caught fire yesterday - it was about 15 years old, so now I need to go shopping - any suggestions would be helpful

Check out the White Knight range which are available through many electrical retailers. They always receive good reviews and are competitively priced.
Built in the UK too.

I'm looking for a tumble drier at the moment so have been through the 1st steps already.
Any size/colour/other restrictions?
Condenser or vented?
Capacity - 6 kgs is popular (this is dry natual fabric - less for synthetics)
No. of heat settings wanted - 2 is the most popular but there are more
Basic or extra functions (e.g. sensor drying; alarm at end)
Price range?
Many driers on the market are energy rated C - the few at A or B take longer to dry clothes. But also look at the other info - C is a band covering a range of power usage.
I then visited a couple of shops to find out what I liked or disliked (e.g. some have square doors - bigger opening but no window to view the clothes).
Now I'm ready to price compare on the web!0
